Groundwater Awareness Week is Almost Here: Mark Your Calendar for March 9-15!
Groundwater Awareness Week (GWAW), established in 1999, promotes responsible groundwater management, encourages annual well testing and maintenance, and supports policies to protect this crucial natural resource.
As part of GWAW, you can help raise awareness about groundwater’s vital role in our daily lives.
By supporting the Groundwater Foundation, you contribute to programs like Water Well Wish, which provides clean water to families in need. You can also inspire future groundwater scientists with the Sponsor A School program by providing classrooms with sets of our Awesome Aquifer kits, worksheets, and lesson plan.
